Each Time Incorrupt
Another Poems by Ward Kelley

The Granting of Wishes

Authors Notes

I return and return,
coming back,
coming back,
each time
incorrupt.

My flesh does not
decay, my face
does not vanish;
such an oddity,
being dug up.

For some odd reason
my body is acting
like everyone else'
soul, each time
incorrupt.

They cannot dig up
a soul, you know,
you know, so you
never see how it
stays the same.
